I cannot connect my Facebook page / I cannot see my Facebook page

You can connect all the Facebook pages with Blog2Social, for which you have admin or editor rights. If you can’t see or connect your Facebook pages, this is most likely due to missing rights.

The settings for Facebook pages can be quite tricky sometimes because some pages are connected to your Facebook profile and some pages are connected or additionally connected to the Facebook Business Manager, where rights and roles can be assigned for each page and each user.

 

Settings for Facebook pages in your Facebook profile

If you cannot see your preferred Facebook page in the dropdown menu in Blog2Social, please click on "Settings & privacy" on Facebook to check the Blog2Social app in your Facebook profile:

  • You will find the section "Business Integrations" on the left-hand side menu. If you click on this section you will see all the apps connected to your profile. The following link will guide you to the "Business Integrations" section on Facebook:

  • Click on "View and edit" next to Blog2Social.
  • A window will open and you will see a section "Show a list of the Pages you manage". Please make sure that this section is activated.

 

Facebook Page Access

If you're facing the error "We could not find a page related to your profile" when trying to connect your Facebook page, we recommend checking your current role for this individual Facebook page by checking the page access settings.

Please make sure to switch to your Facebook page or act as a page on Facebook first, as these settings are not visible in your Facebook profile:
Facebook -> Settings & privacy -> Settings -> Page setup -> View -> Page access

 

Your Facebook profile should be listed below "People with Facebook access".
If this is not the case, please add your Facebook profile or another / new profile to establish the connection in Blog2Social.

 

Settings for Facebook pages in the Facebook Business Manager

If this still does not work, the page is probably connected to a Facebook Business Manager. You can check in the Business Manager to see if you have the required rights to post on this page. Or, if the Business Manager is managed by someone else, ask the administrator of the Business Manager to check the roles and rights for this page.

1) Take a look at the user settings, select your name and check, if the required rights are assigned to your name.

 

2) Take a look at the page settings to see, select your name and check, if the rights to post on this page are assigned to your name. 

 

If you still can't see your page, it could be because Facebook did not recognize the new settings. This can be solved by disconnecting and reconnecting your Facebook accounts. 

To check this, you can check the following instructions:  

  1. Remove all your existing Facebook connections from Blog2Social.
  2. Log in to your Facebook account on www.facebook.com.
  3. Click on the black arrow at the top right of your Facebook navigation bar to open a drop-down menu and select ‘Settings’.
  4. Click ‘Business-Integrations’ on the left side menu.
  5. Hover over the Blog2Social App and remove it by clicking the x.
  6. Log out of Facebook
  7. Go back to your WP and connect your Facebook accounts, groups, and pages again with Blog2Social and make sure that you grant Blog2Social all rights to access your accounts and pages.

If you grant all the required rights Blog2Social, you will be able to see all  Facebook pages for which you have admin or editor rights.
