How do I connect Blog2Social with my X (Twitter) profile?

Due to a recent policy change in the X (Twitter) API, X connections have been available as an add-on since December 2, 2024.

You can add the X add-on to your Blog2Social license as described here:

Please ensure that Blog2Social version 8.2.0 is installed on your website to use the X add-on after purchasing it. You can check and update your Blog2Social version by navigating to "Plugins" -> "Installed Plugins" in your WordPress dashboard.

Afterward, you can connect your X profile with Blog2Social. To do this, select "Networks" in Blog2Social and click on "Connect Profile" next to X.

Now you can enter your login credentials and easily establish the connection.

Please note:
If you are already logged into X with your profile in your browser, this profile will automatically be selected for the connection. If you want to connect to a different profile, please log out in your browser and connect it as described above.

If you’re experiencing issues with connecting or posting on X, please check the following steps:

Is version 8.2.0 installed on your website?
You can verify this under "Plugins" -> "Installed Plugins" and install the latest Blog2Social version.

The auto-poster isn’t triggered?
If you set up the auto-poster before renewing your X connections, please follow these steps:
1) Disable the auto-poster.
2) Click "Save".
3) Enable the auto-poster and set it up with your new X connection.
4) Click "Save".

Afterwards, try sharing a new WordPress post via the auto-poster that wasn’t previously scheduled for publication.
